Preschool Philosophy and Curriculum

Our goal is to give your child a positive educational and spiritual foundation that he or she can build upon in future learning.  Your child will be encouraged to develop a healthy self-image and a respect for others while learning the curriculum content of the Diocese of Cleveland Preschool Guide, which aligns with the Ohio Department of Education Early Learning Content Standards.  The teacher will welcome students into a stimulating classroom that promotes growth, creativity, and a loving atmosphere where all children feel important.

Enrollment

Enrollment for preschool is open to all children who will be 4 years of age on or before September 30, 2010.

Preschool Schedule/Time Options:

Our preschool is designed to be flexible to best fit your child's needs.  Parents are able to select the days/times that best fits their schedules.  Choices include a three, four, or five day week.  The options are as follows:

>Three Days:  Monday, Wednesday, Friday OR Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

>Four Days:  Monday-Thursday OR Tuesday-Friday

>Five Days:    Monday-Friday

*Morning preschool begins at 8:20AM and ends at 11:00AM daily.

*You may also choose to enroll your student for EXTENDED DAY CARE which is scheduled from 11:00AM to 2:30PM in the preschool room

Calendar

Preschool is a part of St. Anthony School and will follow its 2010-2011 Calendar with only two major exceptions, the first and last days of school.

     *The first day of prechool will be Monday, August 30, 2010

     *The last day of preschool will be Friday, May 27, 2011,
